Among any chief concerns on the present crisis in Pakistan is the fact that innocent children are severely at risk of health diseases. "Up to 3.5 million children are at high risk of deadly water-borne diseases, such as watery diarrhoea and dysentery," Maurizio Giuliano, spokesman for the UN Office for the Co-ordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), is quoted as saying by the AFP news agency.Our need to help during a time of crisis mustn't waver in ignorance; and as was the need to help Haiti, now abdicates to Pakistan.
